My inspiration for this digital museum blossomed from a deeply personal place: years of observing a young boy on the autism spectrum. I witnessed firsthand how profoundly his environment shaped his experiences, sparking a powerful desire to bridge the gap in understanding about autism. This project aims to illuminate the everyday realities of autistic life, showcasing both the comforting routines and the unique, often intense, sensory world. By sharing these authentic experiences, the museum will normalize the autistic perspective, revealing the inherent beauty in their daily lives and the sometimes overwhelming intensity of their sensory perceptions.
