Initially, the project explored a human perspective, focusing on the potential of Astley Ainslie Park to promote friendly social interaction and well-being. While this was a valid direction, the concept eventually evolved into a more intriguing dog-focused approach. The project’s new direction aimed to investigate how dogs perceive and experience Astley Ainslie Park (Edinburgh), particularly through their sensory experiences.

The final design successfully incorporates a visually appealing colour palette and thematic elements that align with the project's narrative. Interactive elements, such as cardboard VR glasses and tactile texture, enhance the user experience by fostering engagement and surprise. Future iterations could delve deeper into dog perspectives by
tracking multiple dogs' walking paths to identify patterns and preferences within the park.
